FINA is the international governing body of swimming, water polo, synchronised swimming and open water swimming. 

The FINA logo is a seal of approval that it has been endorsed by the governing body of swimming and can be worn in any FINA-affiliated competition.

To gain approval by FINA, the product must go through a strict audit process governed by pages of guidelines and specifications. In essence, these rules are designed to make sure human performance and ability are not unfairly augmented or enhanced by the technology used in the development of the product.

FINA looks for three key areas; design, material and construction.

These products are FINA approved:

• Performance Speed: Jammers and Kneeskin
• Perfomance Gold: Jammers and Kneeskin
• Advance wetsuit
• All swimskins (also non-wetsuit legal)
