Having Problems with Your ZONE3 Goggles?Updated an hour ago

Whether your goggles are fogging up, letting in water, feeling uncomfortable or showing signs of wear, there are a few simple things you can try to help resolve the problem. Checking the fit, adjusting the strap and following the recommended care instructions can often make a difference.

In this guide, we've covered some of the most common issues you might experience with your ZONE3 goggles, along with practical tips to help you get the best from them.

My goggles are leaking. How can I fix this?

If water is getting inside your goggles, the fit and positioning are good places to start. A secure seal should sit comfortably around your eyes without needing to overtighten the strap.

Check the position of the gasket. Make sure the soft seal around each lens sits evenly against your skin, without folds or gaps. Hair trapped beneath the gasket can also affect the seal.

Adjust the strap. The strap should hold your goggles securely in place without being excessively tight. Tightening it too much can create pressure and may not resolve a leak caused by a poor fit.

Check the nose bridge. If the bridge is too wide or too narrow for your face, the goggles may not sit evenly around both eyes. Adjust the nose bridge if your model allows it.

Consider your facial shape. Everyone's face is different, and a style that works well for one swimmer may not seal properly for another.

If your goggles continue to leak despite adjusting them, you may find that a different goggle shape or style provides a better fit. A comfortable, even seal is more important than how tightly the goggles are strapped on.

My lenses are scratched or the coating appears damaged. What should I do?

The lenses and their coatings need careful handling to help maintain visibility and performance over time. Scratches, damage to the anti-fog coating or other visible deterioration can affect your experience in the water.

Avoid rubbing the lenses. In particular, don't touch or wipe the inside surface, as this may damage the anti-fog coating.

Rinse after swimming. Gently rinse your goggles with fresh, cool water to remove chlorine, salt and other residue.

Let them air dry. Avoid wiping them with towels or clothing, especially on the inside of the lenses.

Store them safely. Keep your goggles in a protective case when not in use, away from sharp objects, direct sunlight and excessive heat.

Avoid household cleaners. Cleaning products and solvents may damage the lenses or coatings.

If your lenses are already scratched, or the coating appears to be peeling, flaking or otherwise damaged, avoid trying to polish, scrape or repair the surface yourself, as this could make the damage worse.
