Are ZONE3 Swimskins Legal for Non-Wetsuit Swims?Updated 2 hours ago

We're often asked whether ZONE3 Swimskins can be worn during non-wetsuit swims. While the rules can vary between events and governing bodies, our Swimskin collection is designed without neoprene, making it a suitable option for many non-wetsuit competitions.

It's important to check the specific rules of your event organiser before racing, as regulations can differ depending on the competition and governing body.

Our Swimskins use performance fabrics rather than neoprene:

Streamline Sleeveless Swimskin

Made from 75% polyamide and 25% elastane, the Streamline Swimskin contains no neoprene.

Short Sleeve Swimskin

Made from 65% polyamide and 35% elastane, the Short Sleeve Swimskin also contains no neoprene. Its chest panel features Yamamoto SCS textile, designed to help reduce drag and improve hydrodynamic performance as you move through the water.

Are ZONE3 Swimskins approved for competition?

Our Swimskins are FINA approved. However, approval and eligibility can depend on the specific rules of your event, so we recommend confirming with your race organiser that your chosen Swimskin is permitted before competing.
